I am attaching a SANDRA report that I don't know how to read.I just know that it is always suggested here to everyone asking questions like this. I hope that I do not come across as one of those who has not taking the time to do so. I have read and learned a lot here and realize that we all need to help ourselves.
All of my software and drivers for my hardware are all up to date.Īnd because of my lack of free time I am just now able to post on this forum. I have performed all of the the optimizations suggested here with the same results. I have spent as much time trying to figure everything out on my own with no success. It has behaved this way since purchasing PT. My sales guy from Sweetwater told me that my Creation Station should be fine to run PT when I was inquiring about purchasing PT from him.did he just get me for another sale? I know I have a little more than the basic requirements to run PT but I didn't expect it to run so poorly. I bought my Creation Station new 3-4 years ago from runs really good accept for with PT. And a lot of those tracks don't even span the entire length of the song. I am only using 2/3 VI at a time tops and maybe 12-16 audio tracks at the most. I always get errors from PT about increasing my RAM.or when I switch between sessions I end up having to shut PT down and restart. The problem I have is every time I do have the time and inspiration at the same time I can't seem to work very efficiently. So I quit and decided to try write music.īecause I have to be a responsible adult now I don't have near as much time as I would like to dedicate to my music.īut when I do I'm like a mad scientist when I get in my music room.I LOVE being in there with me, my guitars, mics, pc, software, and a drink. I gigged most of my adult life and about 8 years ago I became burnt out on playing Sweet Home Alabama to a bunch of drunks til 2 am.
Real quick run down about me.I am a 40 something husband/dad with a full time job that I despise. Great forum.full of excellent advice.thanks for all the info. Started lurking around here shortly after purchasing it.
